Network Analyst Jobs

Top 100 UK law firm is looking for a Network Analyst with a positive, can-do attitude and a high level of personal organisation and analytical skills. This is a responsible role that would suit a hardworking, flexible & confident individual with an approachable manner. In addition, the individual should also be self-motivated and have a strong understanding of supporting a diverse range of infrastructure services.

Law industry experience would be extremely beneficial. Technical skills should include at least 3 years experience of supporting and maintaining a networking environment for a medium sized organisation.

The skills should include:

• Strong networking skills in TCP/IP, DNS, WINS & DHCP (Essential)
• Connectivity mediums: ISDN, MPLS, Broadband, Lease Lines, Private LAN Circuits, etc (Essential)
• LAN/WAN Design (Essential)
• Knowledge of Firewall solutions and rule definitions, security threats and prevention/mitigation (Essential. Checkpoint experience very beneficial)
• HP Procurve or Cisco hardware including IOS configurations (Essential)
• Network accelerator products Juniper WXC or similar (very beneficial)
• Network remote access Juniper IVE or similar
• Networking monitoring tools, Solarwinds or similar
• Wireless technologies
• Experience of network test and emulator environments (very beneficial)
• VOIP Telephony experience (beneficial)
• Windows 2003 server, MS Exchange 2003, Blackberry server, ISA server 2006, Surf Control (All Desirable)
• Good understanding of IT security and current threats/solutions.
