Security Cleared/Developed Vetting

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Security Consultant within a global IT consulting firm based in Reading.

The role provides creative thought leadership in risk management, assurance and technical approval for large projects.

The position requires a valid SC clearance due to the nature of the projects undertaken.

Skills/Experience
• Extensive experience of accreditation in MOD and government.
• Full understanding of government and MOD security policies.
• Recent experience of working on large government projects is essential.
• Candidate should have worked for a consultancy and have a minimum of 5+ years experience as a lead security consultant.
• Must have a flexible approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage own time and budgets while and maintaining customer satisfaction is important for this role.
• Valid SC Clearance - Must have!
• Experience of a wide range of technologies and aspects of security including:
- Production of RMADS
- System wide security & architecture
- Risk management & risk assessment
- Senior level risk balance negotiation
- Creative solutions to challenging business risks

In return, a generous basic salary of £65k-£80K is available depending on experience + car allowance + pension + share options + excellent benefits package.
