Job Title: System Design Engineer
Location: Stevenage or Wiltshire
Salary: £35k - £40k + bens

Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for carrying out design and validation to deliver new services and network upgrades
• Responsible for supporting a Commercial System Design Authority in enabling new capabilities into the Client Catalogue of Services.
• Develop and manage the network baseline to ensure that security, availability and performance levels are maintained
• Work with the SDA and subcontractors to ensure service products are designed within agreed cost, time, available resources to agreed availability criteria and Quality of Service (QoS) requirements and to the satisfaction of the Customer/User (where applicable) as well as Client Services management.
• Interface internally with Client Services and externally with OEMs and Customer organisations on a frequent basis so as to ensure the continuing successful development and delivery of Client s Commercial Services.

Essential Competencies:
• Understanding of RF-Digital interface issues and clocking.
• Previous track record in leading design and /or operational system upgrades including the development of test campaigns, training programmes and implementation of revised processes and procedures.
• Good technical understanding of Voice, IP and RF principles.
• Good understanding of Operational CRM, Service Planning/Delivery management Systems
