Service Delivery Manager, West Midlands £40,000 - £48,000 per annum
An client working within the telecoms industry requires a Service Delivery Manager to manage the provision of managed service and support services for customer accounts.
Title: Service Delivery Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000
Location: Birmingham
You will maintain a solid understanding of customer’s business objectives and assist in developing solutions which support the ongoing growth of the relationship.
Job includes:
• Customer Management
• Conduct regular Service Review meetings with customers ensuring support and service is reviewed
• Provide performance statistics and reporting to customers
• Manage customer expectations
• Ensure that contractual objectives are achieved
• Develop and manage Continual Service Improvement Plans (CSIP)
• Develop and maintain a high level of working knowledge of each customer’s IT organisation and infrastructure
• Increase customer satisfaction
Operational Management
• Act as the primary interface with the customer, being responsible for all operational issues related to delivery of services
• Resolve escalated service issues, to ensure minimal impact and risk to the customer’s solution
• Creation and implementation of a Service Improvement Plan (SIP) in the event of service issues
Requirements:
• Previous Service Delivery Management experience in the IT Industry
• ITIL Certified (Practitioner or Manager Level preferred)
• Experience managing large third party partners
• Writing, Negotiating and Managing Service Level Agreements
• Working with Change Management Processes
• A background in Application Support is beneficial
