A superb permanent role has become available for a top caliber client based in Hertfordshire. The client specialises in high-performance IT/telecoms solutions in defense, wireless mobile and broadband communications.

Title: Technology Manager
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £55k - £70k + excellent benefits (private BUPA Healthcare, Pension schemes, life insurance, individual/company bonuses, etc)

The main responsibilities of the role will include:
The Technology Manager will be responsible for the overall system level design of a range of RF products, involving: the generation of novel concepts or measurement techniques for instrumentation and wireless technology; Supporting the development of test and measurement instruments with emphasis on Hardware, RF and Wireless Communications; Interacting with production, marketing and senior management.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in RF Technology within Management and prior to that RF Design, also required is a knowledge of RF Test and Measurement Instrumentation and an excellent knowledge of Cellular / 3G incorporating 3GPP (WCDMA), WLAN, GSM and Bluetooth.

This role will suit a Blue sky thinker, with the ability to think outside the box and to create technical solutions to difficult problems. This is an exciting inventive role offering an excellent salary and good benefits.
